SALES AND PROMOTIONS

Does Mi Cocina have any sales and promotion events?

Due to limited stock, they don’t happen very often but when they do be sure not to miss out!  Sign up on our mailing list to get notified of special offers.

Does Mi Cocina offer industry discounts?

Yes!  Check out our Industry Partner Discount program to see if you qualify.

 

ORDERS

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards or electronic payments such as Venmo, Paypal or Apple Pay.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Sales tax amounts vary state to state and are subject to change so please be sure to enter your shipping address at check out to calculate the exact amount.

How do I check the status of my order?

Upon checkout, we recommend that you set up an account. This will allow you to log in and receive the latest information on your order.

How do I modify my order?

Since we do not store your credit card information, once an order has been placed we are not able to add or remove items.  To add, you will need to place an additional order.  To remove unwanted items please return product received for an exchange or refund.

How do I cancel my order?

To cancel, please contact info@micocinaus.com within 30 minutes of placing your order.  If you are unable to cancel in time, you can simply return unwanted goods once you receive your order.

 

SHIPPING 

Where does Mi Cocina ship?

We ship to all 50 states.

When will I receive my order?

Upon checkout you will be able to choose from the following shipping options: 

  • Standard 
  • Priority
  • Next Day

If needed, we will split your order into multiple shipments. If this occurs, you’ll be notified and receive a tracking number for each shipment. 

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

What is your return policy?

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.  To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.  To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Sale items are not eligible for returns. 

How can I return my order?

To return your product, you should mail your product to the following address: Mi Cocina, San Francisco Centre, Suite #233 865 Market Street S.F., CA 94103 United States

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a shipping service that can be tracked or purchase shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

How do I receive my refund?

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

How do I exchange my order?

GENERAL PRODUCT INQUIRIES

Where are Mi Cocina products made?

We make everything here in California.

Why did you choose denim?

Denim is durable, versatile and becomes softer and more beautiful over time.  It’s low maintenance and ideal for kitchen, workshop and garden environments where you need good, comfortable coverage.

How do I care for my denim product?

Mi Cocina is special because our beautiful kitchen accessories are made with denim.  

Whether it’s a heavy duty twill or a light weight chambray, our materials are dyed with indigo which will fade and become more distressed over time, just like your favorite pair of jeans.  To avoid unwanted dye transfer, we recommend that you wash our denim product with darks and separate them from lights and whites.  If on the other hand you wish to keep your dark, especially raw pieces looking as rich as possible, follow these specific instructions to preserve as much of the color as possible.

Raw, unfinished denim will crock, especially at first wash.  For best results, hand wash separately in cold water with delicate liquid laundry detergent.  Avoid dryer and hang dry.
